Hostel for young people and the young at heart
Welcome to Martinfeld
Our converted castle is for self-catering guests but can also be used like a youth hostel with all meals provided. In addition, you can pitch your tents on our camp-site or sleep on mattresses in the house.
It is ideal for youth organisations, workshop groups and other similar groups.
Scouts and other youth organisations are our main guests. But other clubs and groups (for instance school and church groups) are more than welcome, too.
We do our utmost to keep the costs down in our home so that younger people with less money can stay here.
Martinfeld Castle is situated in an easily accessible spot in the green centre of Germany, right in the “Nature Park Eichsfeld – Hainich - Werra Valley”. It is a small castle built in Renaissance style, surrounded by several sites well worth visiting.
